Adamson's Metrix-t touring enclosure and (inset) Metrix-i installation version
The Adamson (Booth 254) Metrix Multi-Purpose Line Source Series is an effective and economical choice for small to medium permanent installations in houses of worship, theatres and nightclubs, as well for the main system in smaller touring applications. For large format touring, the Metrix Series is a solid solution for front fill, lip fill or outfill arrays. Despite its small package, the Metrix cabinets produce output levels required in today's concert environments.
The ultra compact line-source enclosures are the newest members of the SpekTrix family, featuring both a five-degree vertical (Metrix) pattern, and a 15-degree vertical (Metrix WAVE) pattern, by 120-degrees horizontal pattern.
A newly designed Adamson ND8-ML 8.5-inch Kevlar neodymium mid-low frequency driver is optimized for the two-way enclosure, and is paired with a 1.4-inch HF (three-inch diaphragm) compression driver, mounted on Adamson's patented HF wave-shaping chamber.
A dual 15-inch convertible cardioid sub is flyable within the same array or behind the main array when trim heights are limited.
The Metrix Series is available in touring (Metrix-t) and installation (Metrix-i) versions. The Metrix-t encompasses Adamson's AIR (patent pending) rigging system. The Metrix-t enclosure weighs 51 pounds and the Wave-t 53 pounds. For venues looking for a permanent option, the system can be purchased as the Metrix-i, featuring the brand new EIR (Enclosed Installation Rigging) system designed for the economically concerned customer, looking for a high-end sound system. The Metrix-i weighs only 41 pounds and the WAVE-i comes in slightly higher at 43 pounds.
