MEDIAGROUP Opens U.S. Office In Atlanta

The SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP (Booth 1066) has opened a new subsidiary in Atlanta, GA, to promote its business in the U.S. market. The office that was opened in the former Olympic city early in April is managed by Karl Schöning, a practised audio professional with many years of experience: Since 1996, Schöning had worked for Klotz Digital, the last six years in Atlanta; previous to his move to the MEDIAGROUP he was head of Klotz's U.S. office. Before that, he had worked for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and as a freelance audio consultant at his native town of Johannesburg (South Africa) for more than eight years. Schöning studied electrical engineering at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and also holds a postgraduate degree in acoustics and management. The son of a German father and a South African mother, he speaks English, Afrikaans and German fluently.
